Tien Giang Province: Thanh Cong commune promotes the improvement of environmental criteria, towards building new advanced rural areas

Electricity, roads, schools, stations, and the development of several new farms, cooperatives, enterprises operating in agricultural and rural areas… The emulation movement "The whole country joins forces to build new rural areas" in the period of 2011 - 2020 has brought great changes in both quantity and quality, improving people's economic and spiritual life.

At the end of the 10-year journey, the national target program on building new rural areas and improving new rural areas enters the period of 2021 – 2025, integrating criteria towards sustainable and comprehensive development of rural areas. Moving towards building new and enhanced rural areas, Thanh Cong Commune – Go Cong Tay district – Tien Giang province is one of the pioneering communes to implement a comprehensive collection and treatment model of waste groups in a sustainable way.
