Hoa Binh Provincial Farmers' Association encourages propaganda work to motivate authorities and farmer members to conserve the rural environment and react proactively to climate change, therefore creating environmental protection models. The market tries to modify behaviour so that it becomes a habit in daily routines.
The Provincial Farmers' Association has emphasised the importance of implementing Environmental Criteria at all levels of the association. This includes participating in various campaigns, such as the Tree Planting Lunar Festival, Earth Hour, National Clean Water and Sanitation Week, and World Environment Day. The Association aims to promote its role as a "Core Centre" in protecting the rural environment and promoting good production and business practices.
It focuses on developing models to protect the environment, such as "Say no to plastic bags and plastic waste," "Collect, segregate and treat waste, and apply microbial products in agricultural production for biosafety," "Farmers' goods," and "Route Farmers' self-managed road."
The Association promotes clean water usage, environmental conservation, and sustainable agriculture by mobilising members, farmers, and rural communities to improve craft village environments, renovate polluted areas, limit plastic usage, and live environmentally friendly. It guides members in developing production practices, ensuring effective fertiliser use, pesticide safety, waste treatment, and aquaculture water protection. It also raises awareness about sustainable ecological agriculture, food hygiene, safety, and pollution reduction.
In 2021, the Farmers' Association plans to build 86 new models for rural environmental protection, totaling 612 models. They will also build 33 new residential areas and 58 model gardens, supporting 79 areas and 151 gardens. They have implemented two pilot models, "Farmer members collect pesticide packaging" and "Farmers Association collects and treats garbage and waste". They have also supported the construction of 75 wells for packaging and 75 plastic containers for household waste. The Association is also mobilising farmer members to plant 72 new trees, contributing to the development of new rural areas and the program of planting 1 billion trees for a green Vietnam. They will also coordinate with specialised agencies to organise 12 training classes on collecting and treating rural waste and circular agriculture for 990 officials and farmer members.
Through environmental protection activities, we have raised awareness among officials, members, and farmers about the Party's policies and guidelines, as well as the State's policies and laws on environmental protection and adaptation to change. Climate change initially forms a sense of responsibility and environmentally friendly living behaviour of officials, members, and farmers. Contribute to solving the pressing problem of environmental pollution in rural areas, improve the capacity to adapt to climate change, and create a new look in rural areas.
