Ha Tinh: Farmers in Xuan Vien commune participate in sustainability actions!

The Xuân Viên commune Farmers' Association of Nghi Xuân district has focused on propaganda, advocacy, and guiding members and farmers to perform good environmental hygiene work, as well as programs, plans for waste collection, sorting, and treatment at the source, and the use of organic fertiliser in family units.

The Commune Farmers' Association coordinates with village-level clubs to organise environmental cleaning, manage self-managed roads, and support waste sorting and collection. Marshal members build and install domestic wastewater treatment pits and support farmer member families with complex human resources to install filtration systems, ensuring environmental hygiene and promoting the proper collection and sorting of waste.

The Association annually initiates a movement to collect waste, packaging, and pesticide shells in fields, promoting ecological protection. This initiative has mobilised officials, members, and farmers, fostering a sense of responsibility and excitement and contributing to a cleaner and more beautiful living environment.
