The first school in Vietnam made of recycled plastic was dedicated to teachers and pupils on September 9 in Muong Khuong district, Lao Cai province. The first recycled plastic school in Vietnam was established at Ngai Phong Cho village, Cao Son commune (Muong Khuong, Lao Cai)'s new kindergarten location.

It serves the teaching and learning requirements of over 100 preschool children and has a total space of roughly 1,000 m2, containing 3 classrooms, 1 kitchen, and 2 public areas. The cost of playground equipment to establish this school is estimated to be around 5.5 billion VND, with a strong foundation costing 2.2 billion VND.

Mr. Le Ngoc Duong, Chairman of the Muong Khuong District People's Committee, stated during the inauguration event that plastic waste is a terrible worldwide problem today. Plastic garbage is difficult to degrade and can persist for hundreds or thousands of years, wreaking havoc on terrestrial ecosystems and impeding plant and animal growth and development... According to estimates, more than 9.1 billion tons of plastic garbage have been collected on Earth, altering the living environment, negatively impacting living animals, and even killing millions of them every day. When plastic waste is burnt, it emits harmful pollutants. As a result, this form of garbage has been contributing to humanity's "White Pollution" disaster.

I'd like you to please deal with a situation where individuals are trying to reduce their usage of plastic items in order to reduce plastic trash. Simultaneously, encourage research into recycling plastic trash into building materials and converting waste into resources in order to safeguard the living environment. However, because this is a new topic with significant technical, recycling, and economic challenges, it has attracted little investment both worldwide and locally. And today's school is one of the evidences of success and contribution to environmental conservation in general, and plastic trash recycling in particular."

This recycled plastic initiative is known to enable more than 60 preschool pupils in Ngai Phong Cho village to have contemporary, roomy, and clean schools and classrooms; adequate spoons, toys, equipment, and facilities to serve the care, nurturing, and education job. Furthermore, this school is a highlight and exceptional attraction in Cao Son commune, Muong Khuong district (Lao Cai).
