The concept of sustainable cement industry development was introduced to the globe in 1999 and was incorporated into the Sustainable Development Action Program, launched on July 3, 2002. The Vissai Cement Group has signed the Zebra project with LafargeHolcim Vietnam Company to optimise cement production activities. The project aims to save mineral resources and energy and maximise the use of industrial and agricultural waste as fuel. The project will also protect the environment and reduce deflation of greenhouse waste, ensuring the efficient use of resources across the group's cement factories.

With 11 lines, it uses residual heat from exhaust gas production and installs automatic environmental monitoring stations to control pollution components, ensuring microdust levels are always within acceptable limits.

The Vissai Cement Group, a leading cement exporter in Vietnam, is committed to developing the "Green" building materials industry. They are introducing Swedish paper packaging and adjusting CO2 levels in production, demonstrating their large capacity in the private enterprise sector.

The Vissai Cement Group was the first facility in Vietnam to successfully export cement to the world's most severe quality technical requirements, the United States, in August 2019. The Vissai Cement Group has optimised cement products for domestic use with the names The Vissai, Hocement, and Song Blue by closely following and meeting worldwide quality technical criteria.
