Product quality, design, and packaging are crucial for business success, with consumers worldwide increasingly interested in eco-friendly materials and the trend of improving packaging, not just in the domestic market.

The Vietnam Beer - Alcohol - Beverage Association (VBA) is promoting green development and sustainable production in the Vietnamese packaging industry, aligning with global trends. This not only contributes to environmental protection but also benefits businesses and the community, as stated by VBA Vice President and General Secretary Chu Thi Van Anh.

The packaging industry is experiencing significant changes in quality and quantity, prompting businesses to adapt their strategies to meet market needs and quickly adapt to new trends.

Unilever Vietnam has achieved 63% recyclable or decomposable packaging and reduced virgin plastic production by 52% through direct reduction and use of plastic, demonstrating significant progress in packaging recycling.

Coca-Cola Vietnam has been actively promoting the use of recycled packaging since the recycling era. In September 2022, the company introduced 100% recycled COCA-COLA™ bottles, reducing the annual plastic usage in Vietnam. By 2023, Coca-Cola Vietnam plans to recycle over 40% of its PET plastic packaging through partnerships with local plastic recyclers.
