Almost 1,300 monitoring stations automatically transmit data to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment

According to MONRE statistics, 58/63 locations with 1,298 monitoring stations automatically report data to the centre. The autonomous and continuous environmental monitoring station system first supplied information on environmental quality to warn of contamination and help state management.

Furthermore, the automatic monitoring system for monitoring enterprises' waste sources is gradually invested in and improved following the regulations and papers directing the execution of the Law on Environmental Protection 2020 requirements. By December 2022, 58/63 municipalities with 1,298 automated monitoring stations have provided data to MONRE by law. Air environment monitoring data is becoming more diversified as the number of automatic and continuous monitoring stations in metropolitan areas increases under the national environmental monitoring network design.
