Can Thanh Elementary School 2: Waste sorting at source - "Exchanging waste for gifts"!

On November 30, 2022, Can Thanh 2 Primary School held the activity "Exchanging waste for gifts", which attracted hundreds of students of the school to participate. They were very excited to participate in this meaningful activity. To help them form awareness, change their consciousness and form the daily habit of sorting waste at the source. They will also be the ones to carry these messages to family members and those around them, contributing to multiplying the spirit and responsibility of people for the environment and implementing waste sorting activities at the source will be easier and more effective.

The activity shows that the attention to the environment and the actions of managers in Can Gio district are becoming more and more drastic, in the right direction with the sustainable development criteria that Vietnam and the whole world are aiming for.

The operation has collected nearly 300 kg of plastic waste, aluminum cans ... in order not to emit into the environment and to carry out recycling at other leading non-polluting recycling plants.

Can Thanh 2 Primary School will continue to implement the Exchanging waste for gifts program until the end of December 2022.

A Chau Environment Companion Unit

As a representative unit of the propaganda force and receives all types of waste after sorting. We hope that through this practical activity, we will spread awareness of environmental protection among the future preschoolers of the country.
