Bac Giang province considers promulgating regulations on construction waste management

Bac Giang province People's Committee is considering and promulgating the Regulation on construction waste management in the province on the basis of the draft Regulations advised by the Department of Construction

Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee will specify the responsibilities of departments, branches and localities in the management of construction solid waste: From classification, storage, collection, transportation, transshipment, recycling, reuse to treatment; the responsibilities of waste source owners; organizations and individuals engaged in collection, transportation, establishment owners providing treatment services...

Bac Giang province will also encourage organizations and individuals to participate in the collection, transportation and treatment of construction solid waste in the form of public-private partnerships and other forms of investment in accordance with the provisions of law. Ensure that investment activities in the field of construction solid waste management are given incentives and support according to regulations.

For district-level People's Committees: pay attention to the allocation of land funds as a construction solid waste treatment area. People's Committees of wards, communes and townships: it is necessary to promote responsibilities in inspecting and supervising the process of collection, transportation and treatment of construction solid waste; Make a list of construction or demolition works, the expected volume of waste generated, the list of collection and transportation facilities and solid waste treatment service providers in the area for public information.

The promulgation of regulations on solid waste management in Bac Giang province will be an important legal document, creating favorable conditions for units and localities to implement the management and treatment of solid waste generated during the construction process.
