Quang Son Cement maintains environmental protection criteria throughout the manufacturing process!

Quang Son Cement Company, with advanced European manufacturing lines and technology, has been approved by the Prime Minister for an investment project.

Quang Son Cement has implemented an autonomous surveillance system in January 2022, linked to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment (DONRE) servers, to ensure compliance with environmental standards and improve manufacturing demands. The system monitors, manages, and addresses waste emissions to ensure public administration and monitoring.

In the production process, dust and emission treatment solutions ensure that Quang Son Cement effectively implements environmental protection standards. Specifically, dust and emissions from the crushing of raw materials, furnaces, and clinker cooling of the Quang Son Cement are collected through the electrostatic dust filtering system, then discharged into the environment through the 131.5m-high smoke pipe; dust emissions arising from the coal grinding process, cement grinding and the transitional locations of the conveyor tape is collected, treated by the dust filtration system before discharge to the environment.

Furthermore, Quang Son Cement employs fog water pump methods for the exhaust air conditioning tower and clinker cooling blind water pump. When regular production occurs, the dust and emission parameters are within allowable limits, as demonstrated by the findings of local authorities and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment inspections.

Mr. Phan Van Chien - head of  HSE department of Quang Son Cement Company, stated that in 2021, the unit signed a contract with EJC Joint Stock in Thai Nguyen-Vietnam to conduct quarterly periodic environmental examinations. However, other people believe that the Company's emissions damage the environment. As a result, by December 30, 2021, we will have finished installing an automatic, continuous, and permitted emissions monitoring system that links and delivers automatic emission monitoring data to the server. The authorities have publicly notified the public about the emission monitoring data of Quang Son Cement Company as of January 2022, including flow, total dust, temperature, pressure, CO, SO2, NOx, and O2.

Simultaneously, Quang Son Cement Company emphasizes the implementation of various programs and activities aimed at improving the effectiveness of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) to assist workers in increasing their sense of responsibility to comply with regulations and minimize risks, accidents, and occupational diseases. Every year, the Company provides suitable and timely personal protective equipment to employees in compliance with the State's professional title work. Simultaneously, carry out the task of periodic medical examinations, assessment of occupational diseases for workers in accordance with legislation, yearly periodic monitoring of the work environment, and hazardous nutrition with artifacts for 100% of the subject benefit workers.

In addition, Quang Son Cement Company also organizes OSH training for 100% of officers and employees periodically according to regulations; Strengthen regular and unexpected inspection activities on OSH for production units at risk of unsafety; Maintenance of equipment, machinery, workplaces, inspection of machines and equipment with strict requirements are carried out periodically in accordance with regulations; Review and supplement rules and regulations on OSH and fire and explosion prevention in accordance with equipment; Check workers' knowledge and compliance with technical safety regulations...

Just during the production ceremony of the first year on February 6, Quang Son Cement Company launched and mobilized all staff, and workers actively participated in building a clean, green environment, implementation security, such as sanitation of internal routes, drainage system, planting of green trees, sanitation workrooms, workplaces...
