On the morning of 13/5, Ben Tre City Women's Union, General II Co., Ltd., Ho Chi Minh City in collaboration with the Board of Directors of My Hoa Secondary School, Ward 7 organized the Environmental Protection Painting Contest, which is one of the schools that achieved the city-level Civil Campaign model in 2020 on the use of biodegradable waste bags in schools, the model is chaired by the Women's Union of Ward 7, Ben Tre City.
In order to enhance the spread of environmental protection, eliminate plastic waste, respond to climate change, especially to celebrate the 133rd anniversary of the birth of President Ho Chi Minh ( 19/05/1890 - 19/05/2023 ), the Environmental Protection painting contest was held.
The competition was attended by 30 students with outstanding talents in fine arts in all grades of the school, representing over 1000 students.
As a result, the Jury selected 9 winning entries (1 first prize, 1 second prize, 2 third prizes and 5 consolation prizes); The Organizing Committee will present the prize at the conference to review 5 years of implementing the Prime Minister's call on the Anti-Plastic Waste movement, expected in June 2023.
This is also an action that all levels of the Association in the area implement the criterion "No waste, wastewater that pollutes the environment" according to the policy "Six nos" of Ben Tre City Committee, contributing to building a green Ben Tre city, towards building a class I urban area by 2030.
