Dong Nai: Publication of recommendations for garbage, debris, and waste disposal for business production facilities.

Dong Nai Province's Department of Resources and Environment published Public Letter No. 7254/STNMT-CCBVMT on September 1, 2023, on destroying discarded materials, trash, and waste for business production facilities in the province.

The Department of Resources and Environment of Dong Nai Province recommends that the facilities in question have written approval following the regulations and should make the following observations:

1. The requirements must specify the kind of cancellation. In addition, official clearance from the Department of Resources and Environment is necessary.

2. List discarded materials, debris, and waste and categorize them. Furthermore, data on amount, mass, components, physical/chemical attributes, and existence status are necessary;

3. Following the requirements, update complete information on the method, place, and time of cancellation;

4. The management of waste generated after disposal must adhere to the terms of the Government's Law on Environmental Protection No. 72/2020/QH14 dated 17/11/2020 and Decree No. 08/2022/ND-CP dated 10/01/2022

Meanwhile, the cancellation option must be attached to contracts for transferring waste, debris, waste to be destroyed, and post-cancellation waste with the functional units (according to the receiving units' waste treatment capacity record).
