On September 29th, at Tan Tra Beach (Ngu Hanh Son district, Da Nang City), 100 workers from Da Nang Urban Environment Company, the Son Tra Peninsula Management Board, and Da Nang City's tourist beaches joined forces in response to the campaign to make the world cleaner, collecting garbage stored on the beach to ensure tourist landscape and environmental sanitation.

Concerning a representative of the Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang Beaches Management Board, waste recently flowed down the rivers to the entrance of the Cua Dai Sea (Quang Nam Province) and along the flow to the beaches in Da Nang as a result of heavy rainfall on the top of the Vu Gia River. The waste amassed is primarily dried wood and plants, chicken sacks, and plastic bottles, making the Da Nang shoreline slow and dirty. Da Nang's forces responded to the global cleaning campaign. At the end of the trip, ten tons of debris were gathered along the Tin Tea restroom, restoring the beach to its former green - clean - beautiful state.

On the same day, soldiers from the armed forces, young troops, personnel from agencies, units, and residents of Hai Chau District went out to clean the environment along the beach of Nguyen Tan Thanh. It is well known that this is a dense region of numerous bars with food services, particularly the portion from Nguyen Tat Thanh - Ton That Dam to Phu Loc Bridge; thus, a lot of waste includes plastic boxes, nylon bags packaging food and beverages dumped to the beach.

As per the Da Nang City Council's plan to organize activities in response to the Campaign to Make the World Cleaner in 2018, Da Nang will focus on handling environmental pollution hot spots in residential buildings, public areas, vacant land, and beaches, ensuring no more waste deposits and environmental contamination.

In addition, on October 7th, a city-level rally in response to the Campaign to Make the World Cleaner will be held at the Hoa Vang District Administrative Centre, with around 1,000 participants. Da Nang will preliminary investigate solutions for increasing environmental pollution control by 2020, including using difficult-to-decompose nylon bags. Green trees will be planted on 11 model roads in Hoa Vang district communities to create new model rural villages. Simultaneously, the squad gathers pesticide containers found on the ground. Finally, we will assist in selecting the most appropriate and effective local waste management model to be submitted to MONRE.
