Sorted waste of people is collected in eight neighborhoods in Nguyen Cu Trinh Ward, transferred to the collection point during the launching ceremony
Within the framework of the operation, nearly 700kg of waste groups capable of reuse and recycling (plastic bottles, aluminum cans, paper, plastic packaging, milk cartons, ...), hazardous waste (waste fluorescent light bulbs, old batteries, ...) are separately sorted by people in the ward, transferred to eight neighborhoods or directly at the collection point.
At the same time, in order to mobilize and encourage people to use environmentally friendly packaging and materials (reusable bags, biodegradable plastic bags,...) and products processed by people with disabilities, the activity "Exchanging waste for gifts" has constantly expanded and diversified with the companionship of manufacturers, environmental units, organizations, social enterprises,…
Environmentally friendly products, sourced from reuse/recycling,... There was space to increase "recognition", get closer to the people. In addition, products processed by people with disabilities have also created strong emotions in the program, indirectly connecting and creating sustainable jobs, as well as organizations / individuals who are starting businesses and operating in the industry.
