Green Living Festival 2023: Ho Chi Minh City Women's Union organizes " Exchanging Plastic Waste – Giving Green Living Gifts" and introduces eco-friendly products

Ho Chi Minh City Green Living Festival 2023 will take place from June 3-4 at Khanh Hoi Park Square, District 4. The Ho Chi Minh City Women's Union will organize the activity " Exchanging Plastic Waste – Giving Green Living Gifts", integrating the introduction of eco-friendly products, promoting green production and consumption and promoting waste classification at source, recovery, recycling and sustainable waste treatment.

Ho Chi Minh City Green Living Festival 2023: "Green Living for a Green City"

Ho Chi Minh City Green Living Festival is an annual environmental event, to be held for the 3rd time in 2023. The festival launched activities to respond to the Environmental Action Month in the city under the direction of the City People's Committee and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment. (according to Plan No. 511/KH-UBND dated February 17, 2023 of the City People's Committee on organizing activities to respond to the Environmental Action Month in Ho Chi Minh City in 2023).

In addition to recyclable plastic bottles, all low-value plastic waste (low recycling or no recyclability,...) will be exchanged during the Green Living Festival, transferred to a sustainable end-to-end recycling unit, or turned into alternative fuels, participation in the production process in the cement plant.

Green Living gifts are selected to exchange and display in accordance with the criteria of the festival as well as the spirit of plastic reduction, economical and rational use of plastic products of the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Union: green plants (pots are reused from glass bottles and handouts made from fabric scraps), natural straws from Lepironia grass / bamboo, environmental handbook, biodegradable bag ,... and other environmentally friendly products.
