Prime Minister issued Decision Decision 29/2023/QD-TTg dated 19/12/2023, Regulating the file, sequence and procedure for identifying investment projects using outdated technology, potential risks of environmental pollution and resource penetration.
1. The Decision will be active from February 15, 2024.
2. Ministers, Heads of Ministerial-level Agencies, Heads of Government Agencies, Chairmen of People's Committees of provinces, central cities and organisations, and relevant individuals shall be responsible for implementing this Decision.
1. The lead agency organises the identification of investment projects using outdated technology, with potential risks of environmental pollution and labour intensive, under the Provisions of Points a and b, Clause 11, Article 27 of the Decree No. 31/2021/ND-CP dated March 26, 2021, of the Government, detailing and guiding the implementation of several articles of the Law on Investment.
2. Investors: Organisations that evaluate the designated machinery, equipment, and technology chain; agencies, organisations, and individuals involved.
