Overview of frequently environmental issues of the apartment's management and operation

Wastewater

Newly-built apartments are guaranteed to be capable of treating wastewater in accordance with current regulations. However, the wastewater treatment system will require periodic maintenance and renovation to return to its original wastewater treatment capacity over time. The wastewater treatment system must be continuously operated and checked; the system's quality will be demonstrated by monitoring results in the annual environmental protection report.

Some points to consider when operating the wastewater treatment systems:

  • What is the current status of the system's operation and wastewater treatment? What is the frequency of maintenance?
  • Electrical cabinet status and equipment in electrical cabinets
  • Microbiological sludge quality (weak, completely lost, ...)
  • Daily flow rate of wastewater and design flow (is there tank overflow, overload incidents, …?

Solid waste

Periodic environmental report

  • An annual environmental report can be prepared at the end of the year and submitted to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment (DONRE) by January 05 of the following year (based on Circular 02/2022/TT-BTNMT) guidance on the Law on Environmental Protection).
  • Environmental quality monitoring: sampling of air, exhaust gas, wastewater, … in accordance with the provisions of the law in the enterprise's environmental profile (integrated into the report on environmental protection).
