On the morning of September 20, at the Fatherland Front Committee (FFC) of Soc Trang Province, a conference was held to sign the coordinated program "Promoting the role of religions in environmental protection, climate change response in the period 2022-2026" between the Vietnam FFC and the Department of Resources and Environment and Religious Organizations.

Thus, the objective of the Programme is to propagate and disseminate the Party's proposals, policies, and laws of the State on environmental protection and adaptation to climate change, lobbying for dignity, office, and fellow citizens to participate in the patriotic race movement actively, 100 percent households and residential communities where there is a responsive response to the protection of the environment, climate adaptation...
The provincial commissary sum that the province has 64 religious organizations, 02 religious schools, 301 religious institutions, and 382 faith institutions. Now has 366 officials, 677 officers, 2,003 spiritual practitioners, and 638,949 religious.
The province has done well in its ethical campaign to protect the environment, adapt to climate change, and promote the strength of the United Nations in implementing its economic development tasks and safeguarding local order and security.
During 2016-2021, the Standing Committee of the National Front of Vietnam, the Department of Resources and Environment, and religious groups followed the contents and mandates of the Coordinated Environmental Protection Programme and achieved positive outcomes. Many propaganda actions and exercises with rich, diversified material have been launched through it. Environmental protection models have been applied in each home and are being expanded yearly, yielding practical results, contributing to environmental protection, and increasing people's quality of life.
