On May 19, 2023, the Green School project accompanied Thuan An Primary School No. 2, Thua Thien Hue province to organize " the day of the garbage sorting instruction and the exchange of garbage for gifts ". The festival aims to spread the sense of responsibility to protect the environment, provide the necessary knowledge to sort waste, and change the behavior of students towards the surrounding environment.
The festival was attended by 614 students, teachers of Thuan An Primary School No. 2, A Chau Environment Co., LTD, and the Better for Hue project.
At the festival, the students heard instructions on sorting waste at the source, the path of the waste, the harmful effects of waste on the environment if not managed properly, and some waste recycling models. In addition, they participated in gift-receiving games to have a practical approach to garbage classification.

The activity contributes to environmental education propaganda, raising awareness and changing students' behavior towards the surrounding environment, step by step orienting green consumption habits. They will also be the ones to bring these messages to propagate to their family members, contributing to spreading the spirit and responsibility of people towards the environment.
Each action reaps a habit, each habit sows a character, and each meaningful action, if accumulated and spread, will create a great effect. With such spirit, the festival was enthusiastically and happily participated by the students.
Junior students segregated and exchanged milk cartons for gifts
The activity of recovering milk cartons helped the children better understand the important role and meaning of sorting - collection - and recycling, as a premise for the next generation to have the habit of preserving the environment naturally. with even the smallest actions such as picking up milk cartons, smashing, folding, folding, and stowing them in a tray or putting them in the recycling bin.

For old items that are no longer in use such as old clothes, books, and old notebooks: the project gathers together to donate and share with individuals and organizations in the community, items that are not eligible for donation. contribution and sharing will be handed over to the reuse unit, and recycling unit, and the final treatment method is to turn the waste into fuel for co-processing in the cement kiln.
