For milk cartons, if not separated for recycling or proper treatment, they will become "dead waste" going into landfills or being disposed of in the environment. While 100% of paper cartons (composed of about 75% pulp, 21% polymer and 4% aluminum) are recyclable, helping to reduce the amount of waste, avoid wasting resources and contributing to the sustainable use of paper materials.
The students exchanged milk cartons, old books, notebooks, and old clothes for gifts.
For old items that are no longer used such as old clothes, books, old notebooks: the project gathers donations to share with individuals and organizations in the community, items that are not eligible for donation and sharing will be handed over to the reuse unit, The recycling unit and the final treatment method is to turn the waste into co-processing fuel in the cement kiln. In addition to the redemption activity, the program has implemented the recovery of waste batteries treated with 0 VND. The activity takes place with the aim of raising awareness about the harmful effects of batteries, forming the habit of sorting waste batteries after use and handing them over to the treatment unit in accordance with regulations.
